The Use of Nearpod 

As our professor previously mentioned, Nearpod is a digital tool that allows teachers to create a way for students to engage and interact with other students. With this process of Nearpod, there are many benefits for students. These benefits include a self-controlled pace, multidevice useful, and less time spent on planning and more time spent on creating memories with your students. Having the use of a Self-controlled pace, teachers are able to provide information to their students without the feeling of rush being put on the teacher or the student. Going hand and hand with having a self-controlled pace, teachers also love using Nearpod because this digital tool can be used on any type of device. This is great for students and especially schools that can not purchase the same devices for all students. Along with the multidevice useful, Nearpod allows teachers to be able to spend more time interacting with their students than planning a whole event of informative teaching. 

However, despite Nearpod having many benefits, this digital tool is also known for having some cons. These include having some paid features, the functionality of the product, and the dependent technology. Just because this digital tool allows people to use many devices, you still need to have those devices in order to join along. Unfortunately, Nearpod also requires some paid features that only paying customers to have access towards. Although this digital tool is great for PowerPoint and google slides, it lacks in the definition of a regular slide show. 

Nearpod can be used in multiple ways! Not only can this service provide a way for teachers to interact with their students, but it also provides ways for homeschooling kids to feel engaged as well. Digital tools like Kahoot! are great examples of how Nearpod would affect the classroom. This is a way for students to get a pause in their learning journey to engage in a fun activity while putting that information to work. Needless to say, Nearpod does examine many ways to achieve an amazing classroom experience despite having a few minor issues.
